Meet Afrocea: Climate Change Creative’s Mascot

Our mission is to build a virtual gallery & online artivist resource, to facilitate the sharing of original artwork within the public domain which raises climate change awareness. Including, but not limited to: paintings, banners & placards.

Focusing on disadvantaged or marginalised communities, we invite participants to visually express their personal experiences and share creative ideas in relation to climate change.

Today, we have a unique opportunity to develop links and bring together public collaborations online – promoting cultural exchange. In exploring issues surrounding climate change, expressed through the arts, we hope to foster public understanding of climate change action and enable marginalised voices from different parts of the world to be heard.

How you can get involved

Teamwork is key

Tell us what you’re making

Are you making artworks inspired by the climate crisis; helping to raise awareness? We’d like to see what you’re making. Send us your art, and a few lines about the ideas behind it. Learn more in the section below…

Make a design for CCC

Banners + Placards

This area of our work is currently under review due to coronavirus & limitations on climate protest events globally. In time, we’ll return to this project, asking if you’d like to create a design for us. You can still follow this link to submit your idea. These designs, banners & placards are for use in climate protest events and will be available for all…
